Maa Nagnechiya Aarti: Meaning & Devotion

The daily aarti of Maa Nagnechiya is a celestial experience that fills the heart of every devotee with spiritual light. Sung during the morning and evening hours in Nagana, the aarti describes the goddess's form, weapons, and blessings.

Aarti Text and Essence

The lyrics call upon the mother as Chakreshwari, praising her eighteen arms, her lion mount, and her journey from the south with Rao Duhad. Listening to the temple bells and drums during the aarti invokes immediate peace.

How to Participate

Devotees can sit in the main assembly hall (Sabha Mandap) during sunset. Singing the aarti along with the priests is considered highly auspicious for the welfare of the family.
